We are the Edinburgh Dirty Weekenders! An Edinburgh University Students’ Association volunteering society. As a group, we go on projects to community gardens, farms, and other green areas in Edinburgh where we plant trees, remove invasive species, make controlled fires, hit the ground with mattocks and many other fun and useful things that truly make a difference to the natural environment that we live in.
We have projects every Sunday during semester time, meeting at Pleasance Courtyard. We leave for projects promptly at 10 am so please arrive before then!
To receive weekly updates on our events and projects, join our mailing list by getting a free membership on our EUSA page. There are also weekly updates on our Instagram and Facebook, but the emails have the most detail!
If you represent a non-profit, conservation or environment-focused organisation, and would like the support of a team of volunteers, feel free to get in touch with our project managers at dirtyweekenders@gmail.com.
Please provide your name, the name of your organisation and what work you would like our help with.
